Disposable earplugs provide the most basic protection available to its wearers. More protection is always better and that is why The Hearing Guy provides access to advanced options. Hearing loss will enter irreversible territory without proper protection. Custom variants of earplugs are safe to use in light personal and heavy professional routines.
Earmolds and earplugs
Custom options fit the ears they were designed for. This is the best option and can solve issues with earplugs leaving gaps with irregular canals. Custom variants are more comfortable to wear for multiple hours, and won’t pop out at inconvenient times. Certain earplug features won’t provide 100 percent protection without a custom fit. Custom earmolds are mandatory for new hearing aids with a prescription. Professionals will pair the patient with options that are beneficial for the current hearing aid, hearing loss type and ear shape.
Musicians’ earplugs and monitors
In music, the different levels of sound have comfortable lows and ear-piercing highs. Musicians are surrounded by sound levels that can damage their ears. Musicians’ earplugs solve this problem by providing protection for the ears without diluting the quality of the music. Built-in protective hardware balances out all sound levels and is even adjustable on the fly with easy customization. In-ear monitors are slightly different and work outside of the studio for loud concert settings. It is a two-part wireless system that lets musicians hear the music exactly as the crowd hears it. This is a replacement for wedge monitors, offering a superior sound experience in a busy setting.
